Self Nomination Guidelines

If you are an organization wishing to nominate yourself, for consideration, please submit the nomination form at least 22 days prior to the upcoming meeting. Kindly follow the below guidelines to complete the nomination process:

Provide your organization information
Provide the details of the member (if known) to support the approval process
If you don’t know any members who can support your nomination process, our team will reach out to you
If you have not received confirmation of this completed nomination form within 7 days please contact us at www.100whocaresarnia.com

Nomination Rules

This Nomination Form is your application for funding from 100 Women Who Care Sarnia Lambton to be considered for one of our quarterly group donations of approximately $10,000.

Annually, 12 organizations (3 for each quarterly meeting) are selected through a random draw and invited to present to our membership group at one of our quarterly meetings. Your application needs to be supported by a current member of 100 Women Who Care Sarnia Lambton (Please contact us at info@100whocaresarnia.com if you need a member to support your application.) This completed form must be received at least 22 days in advance to be included in the random draw for the next meeting. Note: If the Usage of Funds identified in this form changes, please submit a new Nomination Form with the updated information so you don’t miss out on the opportunity to present if your organization is chosen in our random draw.

In order for an organization to be eligible to present to our membership they must have a project based in, or benefitting, the Sarnia Lambton Community and must be a registered Canadian charitable organization. An exception is made for smaller organizations that are able to receive funds through a sponsoring registered charity who is willing to accept funds on the applicant’s behalf; the applying organization is responsible for confirming this sponsorship before completing the application.

The organization will issue charitable donation receipts for the donations received
The organization will have at least 2 of the following donation options: Cheques, E-transfers (with Auto deposit) and/or On-Line donation via a website
The organization will track donations received using a list of members’ names provided by 100 Women
The organization will not sell, create or distribute a list with our members’ contact information nor use members’ information for any purpose other than tracking donations and issuing official donation receipts for tax purposes.
The organization will not solicit our members directly for further contributions
